On May 10, 2020, Sarah graduated from SNHU with her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The online event was organized by Sarah herself when she realized that the COVID-19 pandemic would cause the original ceremony scheduled to take place in New Hampshire would be canceled. She simply would not allow the disruptive inertia of a devastating global disease to let the sustained hard work of her friends and colleagues go unrecognized.

It was a truly amazing experience. Sarah’s mother, father, grandmother, and friends all joined to witness the momentous event. She even managed to recruit the Dean of the school and one of her professors to speak.
At the very end of the ceremony, Sarah’s professor surprised her by inviting her to close with a toast. Sarah’s short speech was not only perfect in duration, but astounding in content. The entire gathering was absolutely silent in awe (they were all on mute, but that’s a minor detail).
I want to take this time to congratulate Sarah on being the most amazing person I know, male or female. I’m incredibly lucky to have her in my life.
A video of the event was recorded using low quality software and lightly edited with even lower quality video editing skills. It is available below for all to enjoy. Congratulations to Sarah, her family, her friends, and all of her classmates at SNHU!
